Swedish super car manufacturer Koenigsegg presents its recent concept solar super car in collaboration with Saab production facility. Quant, the electronic super car is scheduled to hit the road within the next couple of years.
This exciting concept super car will run on solar power, featuring slim film photovoltaic coating, carbon chassis, 3102 mm wheelbase and aluminum & carbon body. Thanks to the innovative FAES technology the Quant has a range of up to 500 km. This super sport car will probably weight 1780 kg and as an entirely electric car is built for 4 persons.
It reaches a top speed of 170 miles per hour with a remarkable acceleration from 0 to 60 speed in about 5,2 seconds. Quant is estimated to boost 512 horsepower and 527 lb feet of torque.
The remarkable, innovative Flow Accumulator Energy Storage system has no harmful materials or heavy metals and features a 20 minutes charging capacity. The roof mounted solar panels can also power the super car’s in-board accessories
